Stem Cell Therapy

Presenter: Robert Potts, Patient, and Regional Marketing Mgr.

Thank you to our Presenter, Robert Potts with Celltex for this informative presentation regarding Stem Cell Therapy.  Robert shared his own journey of driving to work and having an accident caused by a seizure. He found out through his doctor; the seizure was caused by a brain tumor. Robert detailed his personal trials through other treatments and therapies and finally settled on stem cell therapy. Currently, he is living without seizures and his life has returned to normal. He was so pleased with the results; he has become a huge advocate of stem cell therapy and now works for the provider of his treatment, Celltex.

Robert explained the difference between the various cells in the body and how the adult autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are the ones that put patients back onto the path of wellness using the patient’s own stem cells.  Robert also explained how cells are collected, stored and delivered to the patient to relieve symptoms such as multiple sclerosis, Lupus, cardiovascular diseases, Parkinson’s disease and more.

The presentation included information on how (MSCs) cells target inflammation, direct the immune system to aid in healing, form new blood vessels, enhance youthfulness and aid in the regenerative and healing process of the body.

Thank you again to our host Brookdale West University for a great lunch.  Thank you also to Paige Ridout, Regional Director of the ALS Houston Chapter for giving attendees an update on their services, events, and support that the Houston Chapter offers. To contact, to contact Robert
